Who or What's Behind So-Called Trump Protestors?
Clinton?
Sanders?
Soros?
Or?
Are the protestors genuine or hired thugs?
Anyone here know or care to speculate?

Then the activist finally admitted that, yes, the Clinton campaign had helped organize the protest.

O.K. so a few pro-Hillary vets peacefully protested, big whoop.
I'm more interested in the violent protestors being stopped before they can start.
When will the Trump campaign speech events be better policed to keep the violent from hurting pro-Trump attendees?
The violent nonsense needs to be stopped pronto!

Perhaps.
Probably.
Best odds.
Someone pro-Drumpf, as it is helping raise his polling.
Genuine. La raza más fuerte, or so they say. Maybe they had some help getting there though.

This is the evolution from the Occupy movement, to BLM, to this. Same thuggish behavior, same disregard for other's viewpoints or safety.
Conservatives and Libertarians should be posting comparison videos all over the place of what a Tea Party rally looks like and what these miscreants look like. The contrast is startling.

I'm not a fan of either of the two colossal narcissists running for President, but allowing a violent mob to rule (euphemistically labeled as protestors) is something I think could be halted before it gains traction.
Why it isn't is a puzzle.
Guesses?

There isn't much you can do about a violent mob BEFORE they get violent. We do have that pesky right to assemble.
I wasn't a fan of Trump's during the primaries (He now has my full support to stop Hillary from appointing Scalia's replacement), but I do think his reasoning for cancelling the Chicago rally was admirable. He didn't want to put LEO at risk.

And the right to protest and the right to free speech. I wholeheartedly agree with and support that.
However, there is no 'right' to riot and ONCE a significant number of people become unruly or unlawful, the immediate area needs to be dispersed with authority (within the confines of the law) and arrests made where appropriate.
I'd like to see L.E. take more assertive action then we have witnessed some places.

One of the posts was talking about assertiveness of LEOs in such a situation. No one can accurately predict whether LEO intervention will make the situation better or worse.
Many years ago I witnessed a couple of "demonstrations" that started out as a bunch of college students protesting the [Vietnam] war.
I don't know who organized them. Some said it was communist radicals, outside agitators, Yippies, long haired hippies, etc.
I know that the vast majority of the people were just curious students standing around to observe and see what was happening.
A couple of these demonstrations escalated into riots after the intervention of law enforcement.
Several lives were lost, a lot of property damage [Bank of America burned to the ground], people were injured, busted heads and broken bones and many ended up with criminal records. All for standing around and watching.
The people who benefited the most were a few DAs whose careers took off and some young defense lawyers who made a lot of money from the new crop of clients.
In the end, nothing positive was gained. Very sad.
