FTW Officer Shot, 1 suspect dead and 1 at large

Happening now west of Ft Worth near I30 and Longvue Road. Officer is in surgery at JPS, no name or condition released. Prayers for wounded officer and all first responders. We drive that stretch of road several times a week.

Other suspect has been caught. Several FWPD officers staged from our church parking lot and came back about 6:30 PM and told me suspect was in custody.

This was about 2 miles north of me. Lots of activity, had several friends in the area texting me because they just KNEW that I would know about it and know what to tell them to do.

Stay in the house, carry a pistol in a holster in your house (you should be doing that anyhow) and let the people who are paid to do that job go and do their job.

Prayers for the officer, and for that kid in jail to get some tender lovin tonight.
