Dan Patrick for Governor - NOT!
I suspect this guy has plans to step up to governor and maybe then to senator and maybe even a run for president. He was a great choice when he was a conservative voice on the radio saying all the right things. Now that he's lt. governor he's too busy working his personal agenda rather than working to pass the strong pro-2A legislation presented. If he were working for us we could support him. He is only working for himself. We don't need another cookie cut from the say anything to get elected then do nothing but self promotion cutter. We have more than enough of those already.
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

Going to wait until 6/1 to make my own determination on how well he has done. A lot can still occur in the 25 days.

Re: Dan Patrick for Governor - NOT!
I think all bills/legislation and a legislator's vote is nothing more than political leverage used to gain agreement for something else. Seems like passing legislation because it is the right thing to do is not the primary reason to vote for or against a bill. Quid pro quo rules the day.

Step up to Governor? He may have a long wait on that one. He would be better off skipping that step and just running for U.S. Senator.

That may be an optimistic estimate.steveincowtown wrote:As are 99% of all politicians.LDB415 wrote: Now that he's lt. governor he's too busy working his personal agenda...
Even if one politician is what you want, I don't know how well that works if all the others are not.
