I found this to be an interesting and thought- provoking analogy worth sharing.

I’m not advocating violence – I am warning liberals that they are setting the conditions for violence.

He's right. And thank God for the 2nd Amendment.

Good article. With any luck the liberals will not have a lot of time to reflect back on the regret portion. Americans have become lazy with Liberty and lost much of it already. Whatever true Freedoms still standing are constantly being attacked and Legislated away for "causes" or security. Some folks have a Constitutional restoration "cause" and they are marginalized and destroyed at every turn. We have some rough roads ahead when the consequences for our "dereliction of Constitutional duties" catch up with true reality.

I agree with baldeagle. The 2nd Amendment penned long ago guarantees us a fair chance to survive whatever comes or perish in a fight. The sooner the better so we can leave our kids a future.

Thought provoking.

If I wanted to dig around my old posts, I know in the uproar after Sandy Hook and the most recent gun ban threat to our way of life, I could quote myself observing that our side is the one with the guns and the skills to use them effectively.

So this excerpted quote from the article's conclusion has my agreement:
And then liberals would be well advised to ask themselves who will be willing to fight and die to preserve their power and policies. In contrast, there are an awful lot of people willing to fight and die for their religion and our Constitution.

And let’s be blunt – these are the people with most of the guns and the training to use them. . . . I’m not advocating violence – I am warning liberals that they are setting the conditions for violence.

And that better worry them, for the coastal elites are uniquely unsuited to a world where force rules instead of law. The Serbs were, at least, a warrior people. The soft boys and girls who brought us helicopter parenting, “trigger warnings” and coffee cups with diversity slogans are not.

I know the endgame of discarding the rule of law for short-term advantage because I stood in its ruins. Liberals think this free society just sort of happened, that they can poke and tear at its fabric and things will just go on as before. But they won’t. So at the end of the day, if you want a society governed by the rule of force, you better pray that you’re on the side with the guns and those who know how to use them.

He's wrong about one thing....the kind of liberals he's talking about don't just believe we're "unworthy" of rights, respect, or a voice. They believe, and clearly express at sites like HuffPo, that we are an obstacle that stands in the way of their longed for utopia, and we must be eliminated. Some seem to be content for this elimination to evolve naturally and take awhile, but others salivate at the prospect of round ups and extermination. They don't seem to have any idea of how they would accomplish that but they clearly long for it.

I have postulated this very same thing in a number of my posts - the idea that leftists are pushing us toward the point of no return, in which the result will be political violence...... and they won't be prepared for it. I have ALSO pointed out a number of times that when they set precedent, they forget that their day in the sun will end some time, and those very precedents they celebrate today will be used against them tomorrow, and there will be a gnashing of teeth.

They won’t realize let alone admit they caused it.
