Wow. My reaction isn't actually anger as if this desecration was done maliciously. . . it's sorrow and disgust at the ignorance and incompetence of whoever thought this was a neat, creative, fun idea.

To live life this oblivious to reality (as the author obviously is) must either be eternally frustrating or refreshingly stress free.

This! They probably had no idea they were doing anything wrong. I guess it could be they just didn't care but I'll assume it wasn't that. Quite sad.

The story has gone viral. I suspect their ignorance is already well on its way to being remedied.

At least star spangled shorts were not made with the intent of being a flag - although they do disgust me. This is beyond the pale.

That they don't know the difference between our flag and bunting is just sad.

That guy and his friend needs to be taken on a very looong hunting trip.

That made me tear up a little. This is the United States that our children will grow up in. Not the proud nation that our grandfathers spilled blood to forge. I am sure it was done without thought, but that is far from making it right. They might as well use the bible to balance a wobbling chair leg.

Yeah. And they ripped the guy in that forum too. I especially like the picture on the second page.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see a real problem here. With all the real issues to get upset about in the world, I don't see how a flag being used as a decoration is relevant.
