TexasCHLforum Smartphone App...?
Can this be done?
If so, it would make reading this forum on the go ALOT easier.

Re: TexasCHLforum Smartphone App...?
I've seen other topics of members asking for this forum to be made compatible with Tapatalk. All of the other forums I'm on have it. This is the only one I have to get to from my phone's browser. It would be nice.

I kinda have it as an app. If you pull up The Forum in Safari (I have an iPhone), and press the "arrow out" button at the bottom, choose "add to home screen" and...vuala! You have an app...kinda.Saintango wrote:Can this be done?

Okay, I'm missing something. I'm with you through the "arrow out" step, but what and where is the "add to home screen" button?strider67 wrote:I kinda have it as an app. If you pull up The Forum in Safari (I have an iPhone), and press the "arrow out" button at the bottom, choose "add to home screen" and...vuala! Arrow out then swipe to go to second page. Add to home page is on second page.

Re: TexasCHLforum Smartphone App...?
When I press the arrow coming out of the box, it pulls up the screen that gives you the mail, message, twitter...options. One of those options on my phone was "add to home screen". Then it gave me a CHLForum icon I push just like an app. And that just about maxes out my smart phone knowledge!
I hope that helps, Mr. Cotton...

Charles, why do you say that? Have you ever used an application on your phone for a forum to even see how much nicer it makes the experience? Much easier to see the and respond to posts. Why the hate of forum apps?Charles L. Cotton wrote:No we don't!nyj wrote:We need Tap A Talk, Charles!

By the way the time on your server is wrong. The posts are showing up an hour behind.

The server is fine, DST kicked in. This forum allows individual users to determine if they observe it or not. You have to turn it on under your User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Global Settings > Summer Time/DST. Set it to Yes and you should be good to go.

Re: TexasCHLforum Smartphone App...?
No it is not. You need to go to "User Control Panel." Then go to "Board Preference" and change your DST. We had a time change.pcgizzmo wrote:Charles, why do you say that?
