Whats funny is I was debating a Dutch guy about firearms and murder rates...he lives here in Rio De Janeiro and I'm from Houston. He tried to make the point that the more people who have guns, the more crime and murders go up, oh yea? I thought that was funny because it is next to impossible to get a gun here unless you go into the flavelas, (trust me you don't) and yet in Houston you just walk into a store. We looked up the murder stats on his Ipad for last year and there were over 3000 murders in Rio alone compared to Houston with 211. Imagine that? Then the conversation disolved after he was wrong and made some not very nice comments about Obama taking our guns away.
