Shooting partners

Post by Sidro »

Everyone should have a shooting buddy that they can enjoy our shooting sports with. I have one that shoots rifle , handgun and shotguns with me who really enjoys it. I am very fortunate to have her as of today for 38 wonderful years. Growing old together sure is great with someone who enjoys the same things you do.

I have recently found a new friend, The Marshal, that brought along another friend. And my 10yo daughter likes to shoot. Looks like I'm going to have a shooting partner for a long time.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Looking at the title I thougt this might be about shooting your significant other.

I totally agree with the OP. Now I am just trying to get her back into being interested in shooting like we did when we were dating 30+ years ago. :banghead:

My shooting partner had never even held a gun until she married me. Now she love range days and shoots better than I do. :cryin I tell her if we ever have to defend ourselves, I am her back-up!

Congratulations! What an example! Enjoy every day; especially those you get to go to the range!

Happy anniversary to you and the Mrs.

My shooting parter actually turns ** years old today and I have been with her for 41 of those years (42 next month).

Ain't it great to have your spouse as a shooting partner. They can't complain about how much ammo you buy cause they are shooting too :evil2:

You are so right about how wonderful it is to have a partner who enjoys spending time with you and sharing your hobbies.
