What is the biggest/first gun purchase (gun, accessories, equipment) you want to buy next year? Just curious what everyones goals are for next year.
I'll chime in a bit later...still trying to narrow down what mine is.
I suppose we could always do top 3.

A Glock 30 to go with my 21SF and a shotgun. I don't know how soon either will be, but I'd like them to be this year. The G30 will probably find its way home first.

Shotgun that I can use for home defense as well as 3 gun competition followed up by a O/U shotgun for skeet shooting. If I'm lucky I'll add a hunting rifle as well.

A Glock 19 for CC.
...then probably a 12 gauge pump for home defense.

Hmm. I might consider that too. What kind of restrictions are there on shotguns for 3-gun competitions?

Glock 26 and a Beretta Nano, OR a Walther PPS in 9mm are on the top of my list. Can anyone say tax return? hehe.

Still trying to sort that out myself. I'll research more once it gets closer to buy time. Hopefully someone will come along and educate us on the matter. I'm looking a Remington 870 Express right now.

For myself, I'd have to say I have 3 top "gun goals" for 2012.
1. Finish my first AR-15 build (so far only have a stripped lower)
2. Purchase more AK and AR mags and ammo (I'd like a case each of 7.62 and 5.56)
3. Depending on how money goes this year...start saving up for a bolt action in a heavy hitting caliber (.308, 7mm..something) and a quality scope....or if money is tight, maybe look for a used Glock in either the 9mm or .45 variety.

I'm looking at one of those 64 gun Liberty safes. I have to save some more dough first.

No kidding.
I'm with 10Shooter: Ammo. The need for ammo is currently greater than the need, in my case, for more guns. YMMV.

1. more Ammo
2. Rifle #2 (with scope, extra mags, sling, etc)
3. Tax stamps and corresponding professionally-home-made suppressors (for the two rifles, because that's probably all I'll be able to afford)
