People on other forums felt it all the way from Maine to Ohio. Someone said there was also one in Colorado today.

Having lived in Southern California its really amusing to see the east coast get shut down for a little 'ol 5.9 Earthquake. Although I suppose they laugh when they hear about freeways getting shutdown because of an inch of snow in Southern California.

Seems like ye olde planet has entered into a period of higher geological activity in the last 10 years or so. Tsunami's in the Indian and Pacific oceans....Earthquakes running amok from D.C. to New Zealand. IMO, the planet is getting a bit "uppity"...

2012 is next year, the only thing we need a solar flare or 2 and the movie is in motion. :woohoo

Apparently a 5.8 earthquake feels very simliar to standing next to a roller coaster as I could not tell the difference and just thought it was the coaster going by. :lol: Only live about 45 miles away from the epicenter--no damage.
