This is right up there with "Keep honking I'm reloading" and "driver only carries $20 worth of ammo" and others. It could really go against you in a court case.

Oh, I dunno, I kinda like it.
Not for everyday wear, but I'd love to see about 500 of these being worn around the Capitol building while some of our favorite bills are being discussed. Imagine the line at the special entrance for CHL holders.
I tend not paste bumper stickers on my truck, or wear shirts, that indicate I have a gun -- I would like it to be a surprise to anyone wishing me harm -- but there is room for bolder statements, particularly in the right settings.
BTW, I would like to see a citation to any self-defense shooting (or any shooting whatsoever) in the state of Texas that was prosecuted or civilly litigated wherein a bumper sticker or shirt statement was part of the evidence... References to Massad Ayoob don't count. He comes from a jurisdiction that might as well be on a separate planet, tends to make his writing a bit gloomy at times.

"Does this shirt conceal my handgun well?"

When I was younger I had a shirt that said Undercover Cop in the front. Hence the joke. The funny part is I remember being at Keller's in Dallas and woman told her husband under her breath "he is an undercover cop". I nearly laughed when she said it. I like funny shirts but this is ridiculous.

Yup, great for a political statement at the right time. Not all the time though.

New Hampshire is a seperate planet? $10 must-issue license, no place off limits except court rooms, I sure wish Texas was on that planet!

I pass by two different residences with signs that state: Private Property / Trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again.
I wonder what legal impact these signs would have on the home owner if he actually did shoot and kill a home invader?

I've always thought that about these signs too. Besides the legal aspect, I've always thought that it looks tacky to put that up.

Well it happened here, but I'm pretty sure they were guilty for murder sign or no sign.

I remember this story, what wasn't mentioned in this article is that the "our levee" statement that the shooter referred to was actually city owned public property. In our local paper they had a layout of the area and they said they left their property and killed someone on public property. something to this effect.
I think they should be charged with murder because they chose to shoot indiscriminately at vehicle's which by what was said in the paper not even their property before having any kind of inkling that they posed a threat.

Donald Coffey Jr., his father and friends were on their way back from joy riding near a levee and swimming in the Trinity River around 9 p.m.
Not sure about Texas, but where I'm from, "joy riding" is done in a stolen vehicle. (This, of course, does not justify blind-shooting.)
