The Emergency Bra

#1

Post by Excaliber »

This device was designed by a Ukrainian doctor who studied what happened to people affected by the Chernobyl disaster and is intended to provide a readily available way to protect oneself from particulate contaminated air at a moment's notice.

The device won an award for inventions that look goofy at first take, but actually turn out to have practical value.

For obvious reasons, it provides a more viable option for our female members than for our guys......

How's that for thinking outside the box?

Details here.

All it'd do for me is get me in more trouble than I usually stay in with my wife...she'd never believe I was only practicing for a disaster.

Mine already hates it when I wear her underwear on my head. I don't think she's going to let me use her bra as a gas-mask. "rlol"

Which of our female members will make the first joke about husband's or boyfriend's flatulence as reason enough to own this product?

Interesting fact to know in that article, but I doubt I'll go shopping for one. I guess I'll just be unprepared.

I'll know what stock to buy when China has the next bird flu epidemic and runs short of those masks though.

Protection from an airborne nonparticulate threat of this type would require the activated charcoal insert.....

Sure beats a Scott Pack! I am just waiting to see who will be the first wiseguy to bring up the size issue :evil2:
