Re: OK laws
I've carried in OK a number of times. I think the primary laws you should be aware of is that ANY "no guns" sign is legal, and no caliber larger than .45. I think you can only carry one gun, so no BUGs. HERE IS A LINK TO THEIR CCW HANDBOOK.

Re: OK laws
Good to know but in all my time in Oklahoma I never saw any signs banning guns.

Re: OK laws
The only ones I saw were at the entrance to a hospital in Enid, and a nursing home in Fairview.Beware of Doug wrote:Good to know but in all my time in Oklahoma I never saw any signs banning guns.

Re: OK laws
Why .45? I mean if someone wants to carry a desert eagle in .50 AE, why not let them? They'll regret it 5 minutes later when they're holding up their pants. The Annoyed Man wrote:I've carried in OK a number of times. Re: OK laws
Beats the heck out of me. It's their law, not mine. Maybe they don't want people carrying anything more powerful than what an LEO would carry? Who knows? I do believe that .45 would include both the ACP and the Long Colt cartridges.Pinkycatcher wrote:Why .45? I mean if someone wants to carry a desert eagle in .50 AE, why not let them? Re: OK laws
Would "no larger than a .45" include a .44 mag., how bout a .454 casull? It's a silly law, especially since they rely on the diameter of the bullet, oh well.
