Massachusetts is activating 125 national guardsmen to support the 50 illegal immigrants who recently arrived at the island of Martha’s Vineyard late Wednesday, Republican Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker announced Friday.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent the migrants to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday as part of the state’s program transporting illegal migrants to sanctuary cities. Massachusetts is now activating its national guard and offering to transport the migrants to Joint Base Cape Cod, Baker announced.

The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is coordinating with state and local officials to provide food and shelter, according to CBS.
Jeepers! At the Texas border, we call 50 illegal immigrants just a typical day's lunchtime traffic.

P.S. To VP Harris (named our Border Czar 18 months ago, on March 24, 2021, and what a job she's done...one day she might even visit the border) who said in an ABC interview last week that the border is secure: over 2 million recorded border encounters this fiscal year, and we have a couple of more weeks to go. All time record. And those are only the border crossings we know about and the illegals apprehended. I've seen authoritative estimates of everywhere from 400,000 to 800,000 for "got aways," illegals who crossed without intervention, apprehension, or even the border patrol's knowledge. Oh. And among the ones apprehended have been 18 on the federal terror watchlist, the kind of wonderful people our SEALs used to go after in the sandbox.

Biden killed the Keystone Pipeline. Maybe we should revisit it and make it a big tunnel where illegals could enter at the border and not be able to come out until Chicago. Being humanitarians, we would of course equip it with rest stops, bathroom facilities, and food and water stations. To heck with busses. Just let all who want to freely enter the tunnel after the border patrol logs them, and then they can hike to the sanctuary city's open arms and walk right up to Lori Lightfoot's front door.

Quick, quick, the next group to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware.

The Wall is not finished.

Tucker talked about Aspen, I’m sure it’s also a welcoming sanctuary place as well.

LOL, Washington DC was refused the guard activation... but I guess the elites at Martha’s Vineyard are the actual people who matter/run this country.

I think that their Natl Guard needs some training if it takes 125 of them to handle 50 immigrants :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Wait. What? That was MSNBC?!

An MSNBC reporter said the immigrants were happy about Ron DeSantis helping them get to lovely Martha's Vineyard? That the immigrants were treated well and are happy to be there?

That just won't do! That doesn't fit with the dem's narrative at all of human trafficking and wonton disregard of human beings for a political stunt! The mainstream has to shut down that reporter right now!

As I understand it, the difference is the control and not the location, people, or money. DC had to go through the DoD to get them activate because it is not a state. Martha's Vineyard is in a real state and the governor has control of the activation of the guard if the state is paying the bill instead of the feds. This is also how Abbott was able to activate the guard for border security when Biden did not want it.

True. But I still think it shows the elites in our country care only about themselves. Biden/Pelosi/DoD could have thrown the district some help... but they only worry about these people:

...and their bosses who spend time in Martha's Vineyard, Kykuit, and wherever else the moneymen are found.

3 of Martha’s Vineyard 50 sue Gov. De Santis in class action lawsuit. Not Babylon Bee.

They were lured and Duped.

They don’t know yet that in class action lawsuits only the lawyers will make money. They will get a $50coupon off their next ferry ride to Martha’s Vineyard.
