Ok folks ,I don’t post much on this site but I just have to share this with everyone. I was sitting on the couch half ease dropping on my wife’s phone conversation she was having with her cousin. She than said something that completely caught my attention. I don’t know who said it or were it came from. But it is for sure , a classic line in today’s times . So perfect in fact that her niece , who makes tee shirts is going to
make me one with this on it. ..................And here it
We now live in a world where intelligent people are silenced.
So that stupid people are not offended
A perfect line for today’s times

There is a t-shirt for that

I have no association with that website.
To be somewhat of a contrarian, I'm not sure that all the silencing is done because of possible offense. To support that line of thinking, I offer the following
1. The Hunter Biden laptop story was not suppressed because it was offensive. It was suppressed because of people knew the truth, we might not have our current President. One could say that the suppression was done to KEEP people stupid but I make a distinction between stupidity and ignorance.
2. The suppression of the Covid information from the actual deaths WITH Covid versus deaths BECAUSE of Covid to the treatments which could have kept people from getting really sick with the illness to the side effect of mRNA vaccines had nothing to do with offense. Intelligent people were being silenced in order for the politicians to use the situation to grab more power.
3. One could argue that President Trump was offensive to many stupid people and that anything done to suppress him fit the perfect saying. But many of the things that were tone to him from the Steele Dossier to the spying on his campaign via the FISA warrants were done to keep him from gaining more traction with the American people. Those that were offended by him will always be offended by him. The greater majority of the population, if they understood the truth about what the Elites (not just the Democrats) were doing to suppress Trump would be greater supporters of him. Again, I submit that it was truth suppression and not because of offensiveness that the actions were taken.

Unfortunately chasefm11 is correct in his three examples . A lot of times it’s not the worry of offense. It’s just the plain “forces of evil”

Re: A perfect line for today’s times
Just to clarify my opinion on this a little, I wanted to point out another old saying: Never ascribe to evil that which is properly explained by incompetence. Now, having made that clear that I see very little incompetence in any of the examples pointed out by chasefm11. The uproar and 'canceling' by the crowd may very well be incompetence on the part of the 'useful idiots', but it was led and coordinated by evil people for their own purposes.
And since chasefm11 pointed out three examples, I will refer to another old military philosophy that helps convince me it is evil forces at work. When something bad happens once, it is usually just bad luck. If it happens twice, it is probably a coincidence. But if it happens three times, it is enemy action.
