He was a very humble unassuming guy. I was a Professor at Baylor when he was President. I first met him when we were doing a move-in for new Freshmen. There was this old guy in a ballcap. shorts, and a Baylor jersey, walking around, chatting up parents, wishing everyone well - Ken Starr. I still have the original of my promotion letter signed by him.
