Yep, Roanoke Texas…
“Masked, black-clad Antifa protesters showed up brandishing weapons at the Sunday morning "drag brunch" in Roanoke.
Police maintained a presence at the event, which took place at the Anderson Distillery and Grill in Roanoke, Texas, and led at times to tense stand-offs between protesters and counter-protesters.
Approximately 20 children and multiple self-proclaimed teachers attended the event where drag queens performed and collected dollar bills, according to footage of the event obtained by journalist Tayler Hansen”

Probably the ones that aren’t grooming children.

I wonder how long the distillery will last.... and whether their actions will impact the rest of the businesses on Oak Street.
Hard to imagine there are enough people who support this activity that live close enough to keep the Distillery going.
Wife and I venture up there for dinner occasionally, but can't imagine supporting a place that participates in grooming children.
There was some scuttlebutt that antifa had a sniper on the multi-level garage across the street.... As yet unconfirmed...

Some additional info including poor quality photos of "sniper".
I didn't realize that in Roanoke bars allowed Pistols and Rifles... but I guess this is clown world. Where is CPS when you need it?

Would love to see better photos of the "sniper".
Re guns in bars... Not illegal unless 51% locations.
You would think a "Distillery" would be >51%, but, with the price of food these days, I guess not.

Texas distillers can sell only a limited amount of their product on premises.
“Texas spirits (not beer or wine) have a 3 tiered system which means a distiller must sell bottles to a distributor who then sells to a liquor store. A restaurant/bar purchases their alcohol from a wholesaler/liquor store.
“Texas distillers are currently limited to 3500 gallons per year to sell in bottles direct to customers.”

So it’s possible that they’re not a 51% establishment.

website states that it is a bar with on premises consumption:
Stop by our Roanoke bar for a tasting and raise a glass with us
It also indicates "metroportchamber" (Roanoke chamber of commerce?) supported the drinking establishment. Tax dollars at work??? Somebody has some explaining to do

I remember, not oh so long ago, a certain "pro-2A activist" who shall remain nameless (and who I do not support) was harassed by police for walking along a roadside with a slung AR. So, explain to me why HE received that treatment, but why those armed leftwingers were not at least contacted by the police there. Does that little show on the sidewalk not rise to meet TPC 42.01 (a)(8), "displays a firearm or other deadly weapon in a public place in a manner calculated to alarm;"? Seems like Roanoke PD could have done a better job.
EDITED TO ADD: I contacted Roanoke PD to ask about this. I highly doubt I will get a message back, but if I do, I will share the gist of it here.

Thanks for doing that!
Sec. 1702.323 indicates that "An individual described by Subsection (a) who carries a firearm in the course of employment must obtain a private security officer commission under this chapter."
That alone would appear to be a legal violation, unless they have a Level III security license.

Were they being compensated? If not, It would be hard to argue that they were carrying in course of employment. I honestly don't really care about antifa carrying. They have a right to carry as long as they don't break any other laws. I have an issue with the venue inviting children to this event.
