For all of us that volunteer on Church Safety Teams this is a reminder to remain diligent.

The problem is that most of these whack a doodles don’t care if they get killed. Actually the majority expect not to survive. I know we have at least 3 to 6 people armed per service and most of us are greeters and ushers so we are usually near the entrance. I’ll admit our team does need a refresher.

The problem with anyone that just whips out a firearm and starts shooting is that they just gained the advantage of surprise. The guy in Buffalo was even wearing body armor that defeat shots fired by the retired police officer. It does not change that being armed and prepared is the best way to survive but if you happen to be the first one or two who get shot, it doesn't help being armed. Random shooters like these people are tough to stop before they do at least minimal damage.
