My local McDonald’s no longer sells a large drink for one dollar.

$1.69 now.

Anyone remember when they advertised you could get Burger Fries and a Drink for a Dollar. How about Taco Bell’s .39, ,59 and .79 menu.

I know they started with .10 burgers.

My daughter hates when I talk about the old day prices .

My wife complained to me this morning that Dollar General is now 1.25 General. She gets a lot of her craft stuff there.

McDonald's is having a french fries war with Wendy's. Both advertising best hot fries. McDonald's has french fry Friday, spend a dollar and get free fries.

I am old enough, I have ate a .10 burger from the 1st Miky Ds in Lubbock. I was not old enough to buy it. Dad did.

In the early 1960s I was based at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS. IIRC, there was a McDonald's at one gate and a Griff's at the other. There was a line at both almost 24 hrs. a day. Hamburgers were $.10. Maybe $.15.

Y’all all must be “old” I have never seen a hamburger from there less than 3$ and I do remember dollar menu but that’s it. When I was broke in high school and college the dollar menu helped a lot

YEP! We be "old"! There is one thing worse than getting old..................................NOT getting old!

It has gotten crazy. It cost me at least 10-12$ to go to a fast food joint. And you need a loan if you take someone else. But unfortunately the world keeps getting more expensive and one day we will see 12$ Big Mac combos as the norm.

So a McChicken is still one dollar so is a cheeseburger.

I swear it said $2.59 for a medium Fry. In the old days that was 12 cents.

So no New Years Day would be complete without a trip to Hone Depot. I have been taking photos of the 96” 2x4 yp wood studs price tags since Covid. (sorry won’t upload price tag so you get a different stud)

In the old days before Covid this was $1.06 all day. It got as high as $7.50 at some point then dropped to $3.25 . Surprise back above $5 now.

I realized I bought 12 studs a while back and there in the garage some where. I can take the family to McDonalds!

Little Caesar's raises its price of the popular $5 Hot-N-Ready pizza.

It is now %5.55, but it will now come with 33% more pepperoni supposedly ( which could gradually go back to what it was real easy )

It is the first price change in 25 years.

I recall the 'change back from a buck' ad.

I eat out at lunch every day. All my employees go with me and of course I tell my wife to pay for them too. They work great for me, show up everyday, and I still have to listen to the usual b/s, but that's ok. Love the job.
