Don't need to worry about it in TX UNLESS of course the left is successful at nationalizing taking all election rules and taking them away from the states.

This seems to be the ultra-conservatives spreading conspiracy theories. I haven't ANYTHING about this from the left wing, nor from any credible news sources.

Perhaps. But just when I think that I have heard the most ridiculous thing that the Left can possibly conjure up, they have a "hold my beer" rally and outdo themselves. I'm convinced that they trot out this stuff to see if it gets any traction. If it does, they try run with it. If no, like gun control right now, they keep in their pocket for another day.

If they are willing to deny access to a restaurant over the jab, making it voting requirement is not a large step away.

Editorial comment: I find myself in an interesting paradox. I don't believe a word that they say regarding climate change, etc. We know that they lied about everything from the Russia hoax to what happened on January 6th. Their ability to predict the future is fatally flawed. Yet I'm willing to believe almost anything that they might do. Who would have ever dreamed that they would throw the borders of the country wide open to try to import new voter? And after the vax, lock-downs and the way that they have punished whoever opposes them on anything (Kyle), I know that there are no limits to any of that. So ya, I'll believe Alex Jones before I'll believe Adam Schiff.

Hate to see it but let it come. I'll deal with it if it happens. Everyone always says if you don't like what's going in government then go vote. How's that gonna apply to this situation?

I don't see this as a paradox. I don't believe anything they say but believe they will do almost anything. The problem is just because I don't believe what they are saying doesn't mean THEY don't believe in it. They do believe it with all their heart, so they will do anything to get their point in as law. The leftists are the true enemies of freedom because they are the ones who are trying to force everyone to do what they want and say. In almost all cases, the right says do what you feel is necessary. If you want a vax get one, if not don't. If you want a mask, wear one, if not don't. If you want a gun, carry it, if not don't.

True enough. Just because they're saying "We just want to register guns, we don't intend to confiscate them" doesn't mean they're not really thinking about confiscation. So, even though I'm not hearing anything serious right now about "Vax to Vote" doesn't mean it's absolutely not under consideration. Still, I'm not taking it too seriously — for now.

One of the nuances of the Overton Window is that it is a measure of what is in or out of the realm of political possibility. It’s not just that political policy shifts one way or the other (consistently to the left during my nearly 70 years), but the realm of what’s politically possible also shifts. Things that were so radically leftist in my youth that even democrats feared them and wouldn’t conscience even speculating about the possibilities, are now not only openly speculated about, but also openly advocated for by mainstream democrats. JFK and Sam Nunn were vocally anticommunist. Up until Obama’s presidency, Bernie Sanders was the left's "harmless radical" who made common cause with the DNC. Now his politics (including his financial shenanigans) are embraced by the democrat mainstream. Bei Den Jo and Eric Swalwell are openly socialist.

So if you remember that the Overton Window represents not just existing policy, but also possible policy that could easily become reality, it isn't at all hard to believe that things like vax-to-vote, and Australian-style internment camps for the unvaxxed aren’t just around the corner.

On one level, the vax to vote and especially if carried out via microchip is counter-productive to massive voter fraud mechanisms. But since many of our institutions now selectively enforce, I'm certain that there is a way that this all can come together to the demise of the American public.

Still waiting for those studies to get published comparing natural immunity to vax/vax/boost/etc.

No one minded unvaxed healthcare workers, restaurant cooks, and grocery store employees, truckers or anyone else willing to work in 2020. They were Hero's... but now they don't fit the narrative.
