NBC won't air next year's Golden Globes

Apparently the Hollywood Foreign Press Association is too white. They also took "gifts" from some of the nominees.
That means a couple dozen people will be VERY disappointed they can't watch.

Yeah, it’s all because of racism!! It has nothing at all to do with the fact that the oscars, had fewer views than re-runs of Saved by The Bell. NBC knows they can’t sell advertising for the GG. They have no problem with pedophiles, rapists, or con men, on other award shows, but suddenly, the GG are not “woke” enough.
Not like I care, I have not watched an awards show for 20 years. I’m just glad to be around to watch them implode. JMHO

Hollywood Foreign Press Association has like 87 members.
They get 60 million from NBC for hosting the globes. 6 million people watched in 2020. No wonder they are bailing.
Do we really care what 87 people like in movies.
Tom Cruise returned his golden globes.

Ricky Gervais 2020 Golden Globes speech had more views on Youtube (currently 35 million) than the actual awards show had viewers.
