BREAKING: Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered military-wide stand-downs pausing regular activity in order to address white nationalism and extremism in its ranks

The stand-downs will take place at some point in the next 60 days (Reuters)

i imagine most of the troops will sit and smile and think what the heck. Just like we did with the sexual harassment crap in the 80s
i still remember the film produced by the navy. it had a sharp looking female LT. giving us the lecture, meanwhile her blouse was to small in the bosoms area and all we watched was her boob, struggling to be set free
whole auditorium erupted in laughter when i twas brought up during restitution time


maybe they will address the commander in chief failing his oath of office.
or what about the BLM riots all summer, arent they a threat?

we went through operation upgrade in 1986, the troops can live through this crap
or maybe the herd will be thinned and we wont have proper troop levels to meet obligations and we go back to the late 70s early 80s
i am glad i did my 22 yrs, now way i would do it now.

and nationalism is not a crime, we are taught in the military to be proud of our nation. so will biden order no more salute to colors in the morning and at end of day?
as a sailor i bet the questions will be entertaining.

I see a bunch of people getting out of the military early. I figure there are a lot of people who do not want to serve any more, either because they don't like the new administration or just because they did not like the military and never really belonged there. And any of them that have been out of basic training for more than six months know that this administration wants to discharge "white supremacists" and that since it is not a crime, they will get an honorable discharge. And they will promptly claim to be an extremist just to get the discharge. And while some will be white, some will also be Asian, Hispanic, or Black. And no one in the administration will notice this or care.

And the real "white supremacists" will know how to keep their mouths shut, ignore whatever is said (as powerboatr said), and go about their business with no difference in their behavior or attitudes.

There’s less percentage of “white extremists” in the country than the percentage of LGBTZQWSASKL people.

When the next war against another superpower begins, our military will have to be rebuilt due to a extreme lack of readiness.

The Air Force is offering early separation incentives to enlisted airmen. My son is one of them, promoted to Senior Airman early and ready to take the test for Staff Sergeant. But they’re willing to let him go to reduce the force. I don’t think it has anything to do with white supremacy, it’s just a way to cut military expenditures so the Democrats can buy more votes. Just like 1992.

Would be a lot better to take a stand down to see if they can find the missing $21 Trillion:

I'm pretty sure any "training" sessions on this will say that things like reading the Constitution make you a White Supremacist / terrorist, but burning down cities and actually trying to secede from the US, ala CHAZ, are perfectly fine. If they even mention that side of the coin at all. The troops will ignore it and hopefully the good ones won't let it keep them from continuing to serve.

I am reading the Kelly Turnbull series of books right now and this could literally be a chapter in one of them.

in my "AREA" of the navy we lived thorough clinton and his never ending experiments with social crap.

we were considered a small entity in navy terms, we (our community) were closer than many families.,and race, sex, etc had no place except when we had parties and ribbed each other like brothers and sisters.
as our footprint increased we did see outsiders come in from other parts of the navy that had serious issues, we had rapist, predators and folks that had zero moral compass, because the navy needed more people to fill the growing the need for people in our community.

i would love to be back on active duty just to sit and listen to the pause about nationalism and extremists....

I really hope they don't just involve white people in this, that would be racist.

Months of assaults, destruction, arson,breaking into federal buildings,murders of police by antifa and BLM blessed and encouraged by every Democrat of note, with no response and 300 people show up to break into the Capital and it's total war on 74 million Americans. It's only a matter of time until the Feds commit the same sort of atrocities as the Randy Weaver raid and Branch Davidian murders. IMHO
