Once it's down to the last couple of cups, if I care, it's easy to use the funnel from there. When transfering between cans, I use the siphon pump that came with my kerosene heater, (I doubt any residue from one fuel in the pump hangs around in quantities big enough to matter to the other when it's generally being used on 5 gallon cans.) but its outlet hose isn't really long enough to run from a can on the trunk lid into the filler. Might try to find the right size fuel line to extend it one of these days, and buy another one for the kero so the gas one can live in the trunk.CowboyEngineer wrote:I second the use of the Super Siphon very easy to use and control. Only problem that I have encountered is they won't completely empty the can.KD5NRH wrote: a lot of folks are recommending the Super Siphon: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I might order a couple next time I have an Amazon order together.
Also, http://ezpourspout.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Siphon from on top of the trunk still seems easier, though.
