Re: Best BBQ in Dallas area?
All this talk about the BBQ makes me hungry every morning! I really really hope my "intel" is right and St. Nick is dropping off a smoker on the 25th. If you see a haze of smoke all over Rowlett on the 26th don't worry its just me. If you can track it down then you are welcome to join us!

Freds in Irving makes a mean stuffed bake potatoe. Main Street in Euless is great.

That's Hall's Grocery, has been there a loooooong time....great mircro-brew (and Scotch) selection *and* they also FILL *your* propane tank(s), as opposed to the "swap tank" thing you see elsewhere. That is where I get my propane tanks filled for the BBQ (grill, not smoker, not that patient...yet), patio heater, etc.The Annoyed Man wrote:It's a bit further north, but if you come up the 121 and exit at Glade, there's a Valero gas station at the NE corner of Glade and 121. That station also has a liquor store and they sell BBQ wood. I have bought oak logs there before.cheezit wrote:can any of you guys tell me who sales roal oak in north ft worth? i cant seem to find it anymore.
