I did pest control for 30yrs of my life! Squirrels are incredibly destructive, they eat anything a rat will eat (except rat bait) baby birds, rats, mice, fruit, seeds. They will chew through anything short of steel including concrete, terra cotta, copper, lead, siding, hardi-board, wiring both copper and aluminum. They are incredibly destructive, the only good squirrel is a Dead squirrel!RicoTX wrote:What do you guys have against squirrels? Not being sarcastic....just curious?

They were mainly novelty things folks were making by attaching whisker biscuit arrow rests to slingshot frames. I've never messed around with one or made one. They are not really very popular in any venue and still kinda novelty in my opinion, but more folks are making and selling them it seems. There's one guy who advertises with video of him taking hogs with his model. There's even a pocket version now for survivalists, which is just a whisker biscuit with balloon thing attached - you just use your hand as the slingshot frame - link: http://www.alloutdoor.com/2016/04/14/wa ... w-shooter/The Annoyed Man wrote:That’s pretty cool stuff! 1) Is the Sling Bow capable of taking game bigger than anything you’d normally kill with a slingshot?
2) If so, would that Sling Bow be subject to all the usual bow-hunting regs, or ...
3) Are they illegal for hunting at all?
Not sure how TPW would classify.

That's a very popular model. Same design I usually copied, but I use SS frame sandwiched between exotic wood overlays. All I've ever seen in stores is basic wristrockets and such, name brands. Here's a good link if you want to look around. There's lots of reviews and vendors of all kinds. Just know that a slingshot and catapult are same thing depending on which part of world you are from: http://slingshotforum.com/C-dub wrote:I've seen that Scout before during my searches. It looks good. I was hoping to find one in a local store, but so far haven't.Archery1 wrote:Ancillary to my bow building, I used to be pretty deep into the world of slingshot.
