Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Sounds good...depending on which weekend
Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Barring work or my daughter's softball schedule I'm in. A week's notice is always nice for folks to see. Get 'er done with or without me.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Yes of course, last time was spur of the moment -AndyC wrote:Yes, just give plenty of notice - at least a week.
Need suggestions for place to meet up, I am just south of Denton off 35E and north of Lewisville, Arlington is simply too far for me on the weekends as I drive to southwest Dallas daily as it is.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
I'm definitely down for a breakfast in the area. I'm good for the whole Lewisville / The Colony area. Frisco might be a bit far, but it sure beats driving over an hour to Arlington. A week's notice will work for me too.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Since the Arlington meetup is the 3rd Saturday of every month,
why don't we (Lewisville, The Colony, Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, and other nearby towns)
make ours the 2nd Saturday of each month?
It would be great to have TWO Greater DFW meetup breakfasts a month.
If so, that means our next meetup breakfast would be October 14, which gives
everyone a good headsup to save the day. Mark your calendars people!
Site - The Frisco place noted above sounds good.

It's not a huge place, so will need a headcount and call to set aside the tables. Is 8 am a good time?strogg wrote:10/14, Starwood Cafe. I marked my calendar. Hopefully there will be a good turnout

8AM makes sense. Well, we have a month to figure out the headcount.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
I'm in Frisco every day. I will check out the place by talking to their management
and seeing if they have a separate kind of seating area, maybe with a door, which
would be nice.
The Starwood is on the NW corner of Legacy and Lebanon, in the Kroger shopping
center.

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
Recently I checked out the Starwood Cafe. It is not posted with 30.06 or 30.07,
so I say that all of us who want to open carry should just "assume the sale" and show
up OC'ing.
The day I dropped in they seemed to have a lot of servers, so we should be able to
get timely service.
The date is Saturday, 10/14/17, 800 AM. Be there, or be square.
A few local board members who might attend: The Annoyed Man, flightmare, greybeard, chasfm11....more!

They could be like whataburger and refuse to post but ask you to leave so you adhere to their “dress code”.surprise_i'm_armed wrote:Recently I checked out the Starwood Cafe. It is not posted with 30.06 or 30.07,
