Motorcycles were not officially tested either, but should pick up just fine. Likely, if they can't see your license plate from the toll plaza bridge (where the cameras are typically mounted), they can't send you a bill. There may be systems with a different camera position, especially on exit ramps, that may pickup that tag. In TX, they try for a front and rear license plate.

I have most definitely been billed for my motorcycle on the Geo. Bush.
It was especially painful when I missed my exit, went through a $2.42 toll and had to turn around and do it again in the other direction. :banghead:

Getting the bill brought the sting back a month later. :waiting:

I have NTTA tags on 4 vehicles and every now and then we get a zip cash invoice for tolls over a year old. The worst was when I sold a vehicle, the new owner drove it home and I sent the paperwork to the state with the new owners information. nearly 2 years later I get a bill for $2.00 for the toll when the new owner drove it home.

We just got another zip cash invoice for one vehicle that has a toll tag from over a year ago. Need to check toll records and compare to invioce, in the past I would call about the invoice and they would apply to my tag account at the reduced fee.

I sold a vehicle also, sent in the paperwork, still got tolls. I called the authority, did the affidavit, car got drove on the toll way more and I got more bills... After hours on the phone, I decided it wasn't worth $20.

A couple years ago I got a bill for a Dallas toll road....the pic showed a car that wasn't mine and had out of state tags. I hadn't even driven in Dallas for years. Fortunately, one quick call and it was taken care of.

i paid the two zip tag invoices....
one for the trailer and one for the truck..
i also sent info to my legislative rep. and a few other entities.

i dont mind a contractor for the state...or a private enterprise building a toll way and not abiding by the state law for TXDOT owned roadways.
but they all should be the same. either respect the law or not. all or nothing.

the other toll roads i accidentally ventured across all wiped off any toll charges when i asked because of being a disabled veteran with DAV tags.

still no bill for the RV
