I "probably almost" get killed about once a month, and I don't drive all that much.
I did not know until this hour that jurors in California are allowed to submit written questions to witnesses, which must be answered if the defense attorneys and prosecutors do not object.
One of the jurors in this case asked why Mr. White shot through the closed window of his own vehicle. His answer was, paraphrased, White replied that he hadn't thought of it.

There are good reasons why trials are conducted in courts with disinterested judges and juries.
