What's The Weirdest Thing You've Ever Seen?
On my commute to work one day (in downtown Houston) on I45, doing about 65MPH, I looked at the car to my left to see a man driving with a woman next to him up front and in the back seat area a FULL GROWN TIGER.
The woman was trying push the tiger's head down in an effort to keep it from being seen. She saw us (I was in a van with colleagues) gaping at the tiger. She appeared very worried. The man driving looked grim.
They'd obviously removed the back seat and there still wasn't enough room for the tiger as his head kept bumping the headliner and he was obviously interested in seeing the sights and wouldn't stay down...

Well, that beats a one-eyed, one-horned, flying, purple people eater.

A Toyota Prius in Austin with a Wendy Davis bumper sticker.
Oh, wait. That's normal. Never mind.

I saw a Prius with a California license plate and an NRA sticker on the back bumper a couple weeks ago driving through Grapevine on SH-114. I thought that was pretty odd.

Every fool knows they need to roll down the rear window so their pet tiger can hang its head out of the window.

Hm. A 500-pound tiger in the backseat. Probably makes for a very effective theft deterrent...

The oddest thing I've ever seen? My ex trying to explain why she was leaving me. (There are many other adjectives I could use, but "oddest" fits as well.)

Re: What's The Weirdest Thing You've Ever Seen?
We rode out hurricane Rita the Eye went right past Us. 42 trees down on our two acre yard, $45,000+ in damages to house and shop, the county had to reopen the roads with a D-6 dozer. 24x40 open carport made of 4" I-Beams totally demolished grade 5 and 8 bolts sheared with bolt heads flying around like bullets. Now for the odd part.
A picnic table with a open nylon umbrella was undamaged with the umbrella still open and still in the exact same spot.
The 36x50 barn had 1 sheet of nailed on tin missing. Our three horses rode it out without a scratch.
The awesome power of that 12 hours was amazing.

The oddest thing I've ever seen is a man in an F-150 merging onto the highway while taking a hit from a rather large bong. No hands on the wheel as he did all of this mind you. To this day I'm still flabbergasted.

A modest earthquake struck as I was walking through a parking lot the morning after a night of carousing. The rolling pavement and undulating parked cars about broke my brain.
But, that can't top a hitchhiking tiger.

I was raised in New Orleans - I've seen some pretty weird things.

Re: What's The Weirdest Thing You've Ever Seen?
I don't know if it's the weirdest thing, but it's sure the funniest thing. A pigeon flying backwards in a strong headwind. It was flapping for all it was worth, but actually flying backwards.
