It happened frequently when I was stationed at Altus AFB, OK.

We'd get a dust storm from the west and rain from the south. They would meet over Altus and we would get... mud flurries! :biggrinjester:

It always seemed to happen right after I washed my car. :grumble

While doing a job in Pampa several years ago, the season's first blue norther blew through around Holloween. Not only did the temperature drop 60° in an hour, it snowed mud. Oh, Brrr & Yuck!

For $25, the car wash on Fairmont in Pasadena got rid of my "brown rain" problem. They even washed the dog box in the back of my pick up for me...

A guy once told me when he was working in West Texas he saw frozen mud balls coming down. It was like hail but it was frozen mud.
God Bless America, and please hurry.

Yep, West Texas/Panhandle weather is about as stark as the landscape.

Both of ours caught it also. Looks great on a white car.

Yep, brown dirt on my black truck.

Even up in Allen, but that's probably the result of the sewer line work that has been going on for months in our neighborhood.
