Or when I'm at church (I do the media production) and I go on stage to move wires or troubleshoot equipment, I know I have to be printing. And I know most people don't notice. But even when I've been with friends and they do notice, or if I bring guns up in conversation and ask if others have their CHL. No one cares. Even if they do not carry themselves. And I love that. No one wants to get in your business. Or call names or something ridiculous. I'm sure I will eventually cross paths with some person that does not feel the same way. And I hope I can have grace and not be the argumentative person that I am. But for the time being, I love that no one cares.

And that will get you arrested. Being reckless is intentionally failing to properly conceal and would lean toward intentional display.

Reckless means that I do not wear a coat/jacket as a concealment garment each time I have to wear OWB. A GAP/NIKE sport sweater with or without a hoody would work fine for me.

I know that the law changed in wording, but your statement indicates intent to not properly conceal. There should be no difference in the way you concealed prior to Sept. 1 than after. Law or not, it is our job to make sure that the handgun stays covered and it not 'displayed, either intentionally or not.

Yes, that is what he said. There has never been a law against printing. But as I stated, if you were properly concealing before, then there should be no change in methods and level of concealment.

... And that right there is the rub. You take the ride, but beat the rap. It only ends up costing you eight or ten grand. No big deal. You showed them a thing or two.

I believe that there are far more people who DO CARE than you might believe. The good news for us is that most of those same people live their lives in condition white and the thought of someone carrying a gun near them hasn't crossed their mind. The reason that they don't say anything about bulges, etc is they just never consider the possibility of a gun. If they did, some of them are very militant and we might have a spate of MWAG calls.

Think I'm wrong? Let's look at how quickly a lot of the open carry guys are reported.

What I'm thankful for about CC in Texas is that almost 600,000 of my closest friends have shown themselves to be model citizens and that it is a rare occasion over the past 15 years (even when those numbers were lower) when one of them runs afoul of the law. I believe it is that history that allows the condition white antis to not consider guns in their midst. The more we push that envelope, the more likely that will plant ideas in their heads. I know a couple of them who would watch more closely than those on this forum do for the slightest hint of a concealed gun. The combination of paranoia and being a control freak isn't good if we manage to arouse them.
