Re: RIP to my partner
It's been just over a year since I put my buddy Duke to sleep, and 15 years ago since Jake was put to sleep. Both were labs one black one yellow, I guess I might get a chocolate next. Prayers up for all dogs. Sorry for your loss.
IANAL
Re: RIP to my partner
I'm so very sorry for your loss. What a great dog and hero to the community. Thank you both for all you do. Hang in there.

Re: RIP to my partner
Sorry for your loss. looked like a great GSD. they have the deepest eyes
as a lifetime dog lover it hurts bad, and then it does not as much
then one day some little pup pops in and you start anew, not forgotten only remembered and your new little pup takes on its new adventure knowing its in the midst of one who cares
we were just starting to look for a new rottie pup to fill the void from our loss three years ago, but the peanut dog just didn't seem ready.
then one afternoon this new little girl GSD showed up needing a loving home
we are both in bad physical shape and she makes us get up and get moving
she was starving and swollen up from a HUGE tapeworm. 9 lbs
now 2 months late she is over 24 and growing. first GSD for us and she is soooo smart

Re: RIP to my partner
There's a special bond between working dog and its handler that is nothing short of inspirational. Sincere regrets on the loss of your partner.

Re: RIP to my partner
He looks like a wonderful dog. I know how it feels....have had to put down two family dogs this year, one of whom was my much beloved best friend --the Great Dane in my avatar. I recently read a book about military working dogs....some of the stories were heartbreaking. On the plus side, we're not abandoning them to their fate as we did at the end of the Vietnam war.
