ARC picnic cancelled due to rain

Thought I'd throw up the email I just received as the picnic is tomorrow and some may not see their email:

ARC Picnic Cancellation

With Disappointment, due to the severe weather forecast for this weekend, the ARC Board of Directors have decided to CANCEL and RESCHEDULE this Saturday's (October 12th) ARC Fall Membership Picnic to a later date.

I saw that too. I was actually going to go this year as it's been 3 or 4 since my last one.

Not to be confused with "The Arc".

I still haven't figured it out. Google was no help at all.

There's:

"The Arc," an advocacy group for special needs people.

The "Association of Related Churches," a church-planting organization.

"Arc," a new dialect of the "Lisp" programming language.

"ARC Document Solutions."

"ARC Corporation," a back-end IT/Data solution for the travel industry.

I'm still in the dark. Sorry you missed your picnic.

TAM -- since it was canceled due to "rain", I was sure he was actually referring to "Ark". :evil2:

I had the same results until I added picnic. Austin Rifle Club "rlol" Never thought about it, but a lot of folks on the forum refer to PSC, where I shoot. Most readers probably don't have a clue. It was originally Pearland Sportsmans Club. Now it's just PSC Range since it moved to Friendswood.
