I hope this link works (tech is not my strong suit)...

Interesting that 4 of the top 20 are in gun free Chicago...

I cannot believe that Camden, NJ didn't make that top 20 list. It is probably as poor as any of them and has suffered under a long run of really corrupt City governments, similar to Detroit. Their crime rate has been off the charts since I first worked in Philadelphia in 1973.

The article said something like "just another example of how poverty leads to crime". Has it crossed their minds that perhaps crime leads to poverty? Or that they both have the same root cause?
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

I think a lack of family leadership and effective fathers leads to crime. What a nightmare.

I grew up in #14, Indianapolis 46208. My family moved to TX in 1990. I've lived all over the country since then but thankfully was able to come back last year. I don't ever want to leave TX again, not even for vacation!

I believe that the "I want something for nothing" mentality leads to both crime and poverty.

The 20 Most Dangerous Neighborhoods in America, brought to you by the fine folks at the Democrat Party. And if they get their way, it'll be coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

We were just through OK, KS, NE, SD and WY. There are a lot of fine folks in those places. I'll include in that every one of the bikers we met on their way to the Sturgis rally. While I truly love Texas and wouldn't want to live anywhere else, we cannot let the people on the right and left coasts define our opinions of our fellow Americans.

I worked in Indianapolis doing a bid for a customer there on and off for several months. Fortunately, I was able to steer clear of the problem areas. I also worked in Chicago (downtown) and Oakbrook. It is a whole lot harder to avoid the problems there.

I haven't even heard of the neighborhood in Tulsa (top 5) but it says most of the violent crime in Oklahoma originates there?

There is no way to post anything about these neighborhoods without sounding like a complete racist so I will just not mention race. As a youngster I grew up in NYC and would never go to Harlem for fear of being killed. But Clinton has an office there. What does it all mean?
