However your suggestions of how it could happen are spot on!

He will use every trick in the book (and those that are not) to win the election. Even if it means something illegal (with the idea to let "them" sort it out later). This has been his tactic all along on everything he has done, why would we expect him to change?
Yes because they sure didnt sort out later the citizenship, SS#, no birth cert, issues & a lot more.

I have no doubt you're right, but this isn't "news." They did the same thing last time. Still, people are waking up. I can feel it. More and more I see energized republicans and conservatives. I think the conservative base is much more fired up this time around than the last time.

I am less worried about Acorn's tactics than I am about the lawsuits that are sure to follow a negative outcome for the Obama campaign. If it is close, you can count on the democrats suing and then tampering with the vote. This is what they did in Minnesota in the senate campaign won by Al Franken. He lost. They sued. Enough "undiscovered" votes were found to give him an advantage of a little over 200 votes. A subsequent independent investigation discovered that 1099 felons—all democrats—had illegally voted in the election. Had they been caught and punished and the vote recounted, Sen. Norm Coleman would have retained his seat by over 800 votes.

Votes DO matter. When it gets down to where a few hundred votes determine the presidency (Bush in 2000 for instance), it drives me crazy to know that there is a small percentage of self-identified conservatives, who would be statistically irrelevant in normal times, who enjoy and relish their role of saboteurs against the republican party. They tear down instead of building up. Makes me crazy.

I agree. There are many Republicans, Conservatives and Libertarians who are gonna vote for a Third Party candidate JUST to prove their disdain for both parties. I ask them to really consider the implications of doing so, I've explained how this is not the election to so.

I am as fed up with both parties as the next Conservative. However, I do believe if we allow the current President to move out, we will have a real good chance at either forming a viable Third Party or will be able to move out the Rino's and then we can see some real difference...Just not this election, it is imperative we remove the current President.

Repbulicans need to stop nominating centrist candidates like Mitt Romney. They should have had Paul Ryan at the candidate to begin with. I'm going to be voting against Obama in November...not for Romney. That stinks!

I agree, but just as I told the Republican volunteer who called asking for a contribution. "Tell Reince Priebus that until WE have a choice to nominate whom ever we prefer, I would not be donating". As far as the RNC was concerned it was "Mitt's turn"...IMHO, it's not the RNC's choice to decide who's turn it is. Unfortunately the game is rigged.

My wife thinks Ryan is being set up for a Presidential run within the next 2-3 elections.
