In an earlier post, you said that you wouldn't disarm to be on 'Neighborhood Watch' and I'm a little old to be out past 2100 hrs. So, who amonst us might possibly find ourselves in George's shoes, eh? If any do, perhaps they have learned something from this long and drawn out bit of jabberwockey. Good luck and God bless.
I gotta tell you, if I ever had any desire to be on a neighborhood watch team before now (and I've been willing in the past), this whole episode pretty much cured me of it. And I've been one of Z's supporters in this thread. From now on, if any neighborhood I live in is going to hades, I'm just going to let it. When it gets bad enough, I'll move. If neighbors don't care enough to pitch in together,
and stand up for one another when a neighbor is in legal manure up to his neck because he was keeping an eye out for his neighbors' welfare, then that neighborhood plainly deservers whatever Gomorra comes slouching its way. If people don't think their neighborhoods are worth preserving, then who am I to disabuse them of the notion?
I can't wait to move to the country.............and I live in a pretty nice area.
