It seems smart on the surface, but wait a minute!!! Is this a hidden anti-gun agenda? Just kidding.
When the show is sponsored by Gerber, it's no suprise that knives are better for zombie killin'. :evil2:
I wonder how long before Shane gets infected from cutting his hand with the same knife he used to stab zombie melons with moments b4. I mean, there had to be zombie virus on the blade, I didn't see him put it in an autoclave.
That is why I just can't get into the whole zombie thing...I tried, but no go. It seems so many folks will go on and on about infections and vectors and transmission, but a dead organism is just that, dead. After a while, even with something else going on, the dead tissue would just break down and the zombies would go away the way any other dead critter does in nature...the best method to survive would be to avoid them...just like any other terrible infectious plagues. Now, if you are talking about SUPERNATURAL zombies, that is a whole different story, also VOODOO zombies, as well. I found Steven King's "The Stand", about the world during and after a super-plague, to be MUCH scarier...there were crazies running around after most of humanity got wiped out...and they were as dangerous as any psychopath, but without any law enforcement to avoid...

"rlol" "rlol" "rlol" .... By the way... what ever happened to that guy and his boy? I don't remember seeing a episode where that guy showed back up.

And where is the red necks brother? The guy they left on the roof in Atlanta? The one who cut off his own hand to get away. It would be too obvious for all the stragglers they left behind to show up with that rowdy gang of thugs they are trying to avoid. ;-)

I was going to post about that. You're talking about the black guy at the beginning, right? (He was the actor who was a character in Jericho too?)
They were going to reconnect by radio, but that story just fell off.

I'm glued to this show too, but I'm getting sick of how each episode only covers very little ground. The first season was awesome, but this season kind of stinks relatively speaking. It seems like an entire episode will be arguing one point and nothing else happens. Lame.
That being said, I can't miss a show! haha.

I am hooked also. I have seen every show from the start until now. I agree with your sumation of this season. Last season was about the same.

Yes.. same guy... and I was hooked on Jericho as well. So I bought the DVD box sets...LOL. I haven't watched them yet. I did see it when it was on the boob tube.

I felt like the first season moved quickly... A lot seemed to happen in one show, but not this season.

Jericho was a great show. I loved the way it ended! How could you not if you're a Texan? :txflag:

I've got all the Jericho's in iTunes. I haven't watched it in a long time. I think I will again soon though.

Have you seen the webisodes for Walking Dead? It shows how that half-bodied zombie in one of the first episodes becomes a zombie. I think there are like 7 mini-episodes. They're also good.

**SPOILER ALERT**

That type of thing will apparently become predominant in Season 3 of Walking Dead if all the comic book geeks are right. The show is based in a long running comic book. Never read it but talked with folks who have. Apparently some EVIL character named "The Governor" has already been cast for next season and the other survivors who are part of his group become much more of a menace than the zombies

Also interesting tidbit, the comic's creator (who is also involved with TV show) says the title. "The Walking Dead" refers to the people not the zombies :eek6

Cool... it does seem to be going in that direction. WooHoo!!! I never read the comic either. My son in law told me a month or so ago it was based on a comic series.

It seems like this season is moving at better pace than last season. More action, less heart to heart conversation.

This show be on Lifetime and not AMC. Too much drama involved for surving a zombie apocalypse.

I agree. Hopefully they'll keep up the quality with next week's episode and into next season. I don't think I can stomach another 1/2 season of nothingness like we had with the first half of S2.
Thanks,
