Beautiful cars new and old. I like new ones better. I got a chance to drive my niece's new to her 03 vette today. It was a Rocket on wheels. Big Grin after that ride. Good luck and we want pics of whatever you decide.

werd. I have a pic of one as my desktop at work. The episode of Top Gear where James May takes that thing to the limit was..Dave2 wrote:Just get a Bugatti Veyron and be done with it.
I vote 'vette. those new camaros are just ugly as sin to me. However, I *do* reaaaaaaaaally like the look of the new Challenger! so there ya have it.
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

Wow, that orange is bright. If you get that one I'll be sure to wave if I see you driving around Grapevine. I don't think that I've seen another one that color.

Re: 2011 Camaro Convertible vs 2010 Corvette Coupe
Well, I found my new ride Friday night! After the Camaro Convertible vs. Corvette Coupe comparison, the Corvette Coupe won out. I found a 2011 Corvette Coupe that I liked and the dealer was "playing ball" so-to-speak. Just for grins though, I thought it was worth checking out the Corvette Convertible, I've always liked the finished look of the top-down Corvette Convertible, no tonneau cover to worry about. So, I checked one out, took it for a spin (yes, I still have that silly WHEEEEEEEEEEE! grin), the dealer played ball and I took her home! She's a 2011 Convertible Corvette with 6-speed manual.

I hate you.
but in a good way.
Hope you don't have to take too many gravel roads to get to the "cruisin'" roads!
enjoy, congrats, and again, I hate you.

Thank you, I've been hated before....I like it!

Neither one, thanks. We still have all of our "muscle" cars bought up to over 40 years ago -- still running -- and they're not GM.
Life is for learning.
IANAL, thank gosh!

Re: 2011 Camaro Convertible vs 2010 Corvette Coupe
I've driven a rental car (itty bitty Hyundai) more than I've driven my new 'vette (been on the West Coast for over a week)...and I tell ya, I was missing it! Got back and did some driving, with the farmer's tan to prove it, got it all clean and shined up last night.

Re: 2011 Camaro Convertible vs 2010 Corvette Coupe
My wife and I bought a new 05 Vette, the first of the C6 generation. At 15,000 miles I needed new front tires. Only Goodyear made them and 2 on the car cost $870 dollars. The rubber is sticky racing rubber and wears fast. We sold before we needed rear tires. Great road car though.

Pucker,
How's the new ride? Is is it everything you thought it was and more? If not, I'd be happy to take it off your hands. I know how people get bored of their toys and all.
