I hope you are not saying any woman who finds herself vulnerable is partially responsible for a guy raping her. The guy is responsible for controlling his criminal behavior. Period. Some people are very very good at gaining the confidence of their intended victims.

The gir's parents would actually act like they cared for the daughter's safety and well-being and the guy would actually act like he had some manners. How dumb is that? SHEEZ!
If the dad in the story had been more interested in her social life before, maybe he wouldn't feel the need to overcompensate now.

What does that mean? Is she in law enforcement or private security?

There are a lot of dumb people out there now.
:iagree: and I'd think the girl's parents would like to know where she's going and with whom; especially, if she's still living at home and off her parents.

Now, if the girl is mature enough to have set out on her own, she is out on her own and sets her own standards for social intercourse.

BTW, I never had any daughters, I just happen to be an expert on women "rlol" .
You'd be surprised how some parents-of-daughters act. I've had parents drop their girls off at my house for a study session or pool party (I have a teenage boy) never having met me or my son, not knowing if either of his parents were at home or what was planned. Pull up to the curb, open the door, call me when you're ready to get picked up. :nono: 16 year olds weren't that innocent when these people were kids, I can't imagine what's in their minds ... if anything.
