Another poster child for the anti-gun fringe. No matter: LEO practicing life saving (use something besides a baby for practice) or just someone that doesn't know any better. When messing with a gun, step away from the baby.

I don't see a holster, so he's not practicing a draw...I don't think. No belt for a holster, only lovehandles show through the T-shirt. Unless the babby has a cross-draw setup on it's diaper.

This isn't an airsoft gun, is it? That was my first thought when I saw this the other day, but I can't tell for sure.

There is so much wrong with this, and the comments over at the site from which this pic comes are even worse. The usual hyperventilating, stereotyping comments you get from uninformed internet mouth-breathers. For no other reason than that, taking this picture is a most bone-headed decision. Please, be stupid on your own time, without a camera around. YouTube is full, already!

Like this one maybe?
That one's not very smart, either. If you're going to draw fire, get the kid out of the line of fire (IMHO).

What if that guy from the "21 feet away" video is coming at you with that big knife? Or some other bad actors (however unlikely it might be). You might not have time to remove the kid from the situation.

At least don't pick him up! I doubt very seriously that Dad carries his son around routinely.

Maybe that's the new kevlar child sling with holster attachment? All around bad idea.

I was at a defensive pistol match a while ago (can't remember if it was IDPA or just an independent match) and one of the stages involved starting holding a baby doll, picking up your pistol and engaging two targets (one handed). One of the guys I had gone to the match with had a FTF and immediate performed a tap rack band... with the doll still in his left hand. How he was able to rack the slide with the doll (after using it to re-seat the magazine) I will never know, but it was without a doubt the funniest (albeit also terrible) thing I've ever seen at a pistol match. I have to wonder... has everyone here had a humorectomy recently? You have to take a silly/humorous/staged/sarcastic photo so seriously, as if it reflects on you personally?

Lighten up, folks. This is the internet.

I am wondering if this was posed as a joke (yeah, not funny) for a picture. Then, later, the ex decides it would help her gain custody if this picture was leaked to the world. Bet that was effective :biggrinjester:
