Must not be that great. You could have shot the wings off of it had it been a Beretta.israel67 wrote:.. it's not a myth!! I just swatted a fly with the Glock catalogue!!

israel67,
Personally, I'm back among the living.
Have you enjoyed an experience like Dante's?

Hey! Sadly, not yet.DoubleJ wrote:you move to Texas yet???
I contacted the TX State Board of Education, and unfortunately, there are relatively few opportunities to teach whilst you're working towards certification. You have to do it the other way around: get certification, and then look for a posting. And my financial resources don't stretch to that. At least, not yet.
So any of you dudes have companies, and want to hire me? I speak three languages (English, French and Hebrew), four if you count my (to be honest) shaky command of Spanish. I know UNIX; I can do shell, a bit of PhP, LaTeX, SQL... and I'll consider any stuff.
Yunno, running through my mind are the memories of sitting on my relative's porch in April (dang, was it already last year???), sipping a beer and listening to the crickets.....

Those type of jobs are somewhat common in DFW, if you're willing to live there (I'm not). Dunno if you could get a green card for that skillset, tho. Then again, I don't know your immigration status.israel67 wrote:Hey! Sadly, not yet.DoubleJ wrote:you move to Texas yet???
