New Car for Wife during Christmas in DFW area

Post by texasparamedic »

OK folks. I am thinking about purchasing my wife a new vehicle for Christmas. I know that this is a good and bad time to do this but it needs to be done soon and what better time then now. We live in the North Denton County area and i know we have a few dealerships around us. Here is what I am looking for. Does anyone have any experience with the new Nissan Rouge, Mazda CX-7, The New New Toyota Veser "What ever that new cross over is called", Or similar. I know that that is a broad range of vehicles, but I am not sure what direction to go. I am looking for decent gas mileage, comfort, and affordability. Also if anyone is or has a preferred salesman or dealer in the area let me know. I would rather do business with a fellow CHLr or CHLr friendly. Among all else I am not wanting to get ripped off or taken advantage of. Not that dealerships do that sort of thing. Thanks for the help.

I am not in your area nor do I have either of those vehicles. What I can advise is to find exactly what you want. E-mail all the area dealerships and tell them what you are looking for and ask for a quote. Most dealerships have internet managers and you can haggle via e-mail. Use the quotes from different dealers to negotiate. It probably wouldn't hurt to get a quote from Houston and use that also. I did this with my 2007 Accord, I got quotes from all area Honda dealers and negotiated the best price. I only spent about 1.5 hours in the dealership signing papers and getting the vehicle. Also check out Edmunds.com to see what a fiar price is.
