I suppose '60s day promotes LSD use, too.

You know, When I was a little kid we had "Crazy Day" in MacAlester, OK. This was in 1962 and there were some examples where guys dressed as girls. Most of them looked like Meme Bobeck from the Drew Carey show. They even had a parade through downtown with prizes for the best costumes. When I read this story my first thought was some people really need to get a life.

duuuuude, it's the Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt not wear a pleated skirt with a frilly top, whether ye be boy nor girl.
or sumpin' like that...

FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

I agree. Call me ultra-conservative or whatever you want to, but kids this age are VERY impressionable. I strongly disapprove of the schools action."We believe it's the wrong message to send to elementary students,"

Same here..just let one of those kids drop to his knees and pray and watch how fast he is snatched up and suspended

I remember an episode of the Little Rascals where they were all dressed up like girls to try and spy on the girls club. Nothing gay or transsexual about that, just funny humor. I am sure these kids thought nothing of it except to have fun and get out of the boring school work.

Were the kids allowed or required to dress up? If the kids and their parents had a choice, I don't see the problem.
We're here. With gear. Get used to it.
Re: Radio network blasts Elementary school for playing dress-up
I consider myself to be socially conservative. No, I dont go to church every week, yes I believe in God and that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. Ive voted republican since I was old enough to vote. Im a "marriage is between a man and a woman, but what people do in the privacy of their bedroom is their business" kind of guy. I believe all pedophiles should be castrated and locked up for life on the 1st offense. I believe in the death penalty. But this? Absolutely ridiculous! What has happened to this country, kids cant be kids anymore! Its no wonder todays teenagers are so messed up, instead of growing up normally theyre being programmed by the schools and society to behave and think a certain way and its backfiring.
Kids cant play competetive games like dodge ball in schools anymore because it may make the losing team members feel inferior. Kids cant give each other hugs because by golly someone might get pregnant! Kids cant have Christmas parties because it might offend someone. And now, if little Jimmy goes to school for dress up day wearing a dress oh my gosh, he's gonna turn into a raging homosexual! GASP! THE HUMANITY! Give me a break people!!!! I wore a dress in a school play I did in 6th grade, it didnt make me a cross dresser, Im married and have 3 kids!
