At a guess, I'd say its a mixture of democrat diehards who only look at party affiliation and people who never worked a day in their lives and are getting regular checks from the government, don't go anywhere so they don't buy gas, have their rent payed for by you and me and get food stamps so the price of food doesn't affect them.
They get free treatment at the emergency room whenever they get the sniffles and are only concerned when the cable bill goes up.

Among independents, the divide is even more stark: 68% disapproval versus 19% approval. And if you limit that to females (his biggest supporters), his disapproval/approval rating is still 61/22.

It’s no wonder the DNC is starting to grumble. But if they think dumping Biden/Harris for a Harris/Buttigieg ticket is going to save them, they’re delusional. She’s incapable of stringing two coherent sentences together. Their best bet, although he keeps saying he’s not going to run, is a Gavin Newsome/Pete Buttigieg ticket. Democrats have always attached great importance to a perfect haircut above anything else.

Although I don’t think the GOP is the answer to all questions (I’d personally rather see a serious libertarian with respectable border security credentials), it seems that, in the DNC, they’ve got a very soft target for the 2022/2024 elections. If republicans can’t win after this series of democrat debacles, they’ve got no business in politics.
