Just to clarify, the police arrested him BUT he has not yet been charged with any crimes and the investigation is on-going, according to the written article. from the video, I saw him do two things wrong (well, not the way I would have done them anyway). First is he was carrying without a round in the chamber. He had to jack the slide when he drew the gun. If the attackers had wanted to jump him then, they would have been able to take him down and do whatever they wanted while he was trying to get the weapon ready (which was not practiced well enough at all). My advice is to never carry on an empty chamber, but it did work for him at least. The second thing I think I would have done that he did not is to start shooting at the ones who sprayed him or were armed with clubs (especially the battering ram used on his truck window). I cannot fault him for not shooting, but my training is that if someone uses pepper spray or a taser on me, they are trying to incapacitate me to take my weapon and kill me.philip964 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 8:54 pm https://www.dailymail.co.uk/video/news/ ... ested.html
Antifa attacks man in his truck smashing it with rocks and pepper spraying him.
He draws his gun to protect himself and property.
He is arrested.
I do not fault the police for taking him into custody as the only one with a gun out, especially if they did not see him get sprayed. And I will only fault them if he does end up being charged, though that is as much as case of bad laws as bad officers.
