If Biden takes Texas, is it over? It has to be, right? If he does and we don't swing back before I retire in about 10 years or so I can't see staying here in retirement. We can't afford to leave before then and there's too many other reasons to stay until then and maybe even after, but I hope not.

Which states are the most conservative? My wife doesn't like the cold, but I'm afraid the most conservative ones are up north. Not the best for retirees or motorcycle riding season length.

IMHO, that is what Republicans should have been doing for the past at least 5 years. Instead, they have been pandering to the Democrats. The Republicans fail miserably every time that they try to turn themselves into Democrats-lite. I believe that Independents can more easily be swung over if GOP platform is used as the basis for results.

Don't forget that the last large Red county, Tarrant, voted for Beto in the mid-terms. All other large cities are already and have been Blue for decades. I feel that Trump will win Texas, but the days of being reliably Red are gone. As transplants from other states bring the voting habits that ultimately made them leave, they're shifting Texas.

Kentucky or Tennessee look good to me. Solid red. Unless you like the OK, KS, NE, SD ,ND corridor.

Same here. I was not aware one registered as dem or repub. There is a line on my card where it says which primary I voted in but it is blank with a line to put something in there. I leave mine blank.

I go into around 4-5 homes a day doing heat checks. I avoid politics like the plague with customers. Many of our customers are older folks(over 60). I can tell who is voting Biden by the news channel they each have playing. FOX=Trump, CNN/MSNBC=Biden. I hate to say it but it surprises me how many of the older women have Biden network and almost all the older men have Trump network playing. Several have had Biden signs in front yard. My take so far is that more of these older voters are leaning Biden. It just amazes me that older people trust that liar. I believe whole heartedly it is more of a "hate Trump" vote than a "love Biden" vote.

If the Dark Winter of Joe Biden really does settle over this country, that will be the reason. It's staggering how many seemingly intelligent people are voting based on their personal emotional reaction to Trump and not based on policy and accomplishments. Of the ones I know doing this, not a single one--without a Google cheat--can list for me even five things Joe Biden has accomplished for the nation after 47 years in Washington. They also believe that everything Trump has done has been absolutely terrible...but they can't list five of those things, either. Oh, except that he didn't stop COVID-19 singlehandedly, and then they babble about the wall and his being a racist.

I have another challenge for you. I've been driving/cycling around my limited area of Collin county and have noticed a pattern. I would like to see if you notice it as well. In my neighborhood at least, there are many houses with US flags posted. Some are affixed to the house, some standing on their own flagpole in the yard. I have yet to see a Biden/Harris sign in a yard with a US flag out front. Have you?
