Love to. I’ll even hook you up with some custom baseplate decals or leather grips.Flightmare wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 11:36 pmIf there is a time I can meet up with you, I'd be more than happy to meet up somewhere and give you one of these challenge coins. I'm in Plano if it helps.

For the sake of transparency, I got the idea from Flightmare who is the person I got mine from. I don't leave the house without it.

I've actually made some challenge coins for a customer... I own a laser engraving business. My only issue is that since most of my clients are first time or very novice gun owners, the coins would just be something that would get thrown in the back of a drawer and eventually thrown out... I can't see them doing anything with one.. I like the pocket constitution idea though... Also I was thinking of a pack of targets or something like that...
I have my LTC instructor class scheduled for November in Florence, (assuming they let me pass), I was just thinking of giving my basic pistol students a gift certificate for any future class that I teach... (I was thinking maybe a 10% - 20% off coupon). Win Win in my book as I get the students back for more training and they get a small discount..

Not directly 2A or firearm related, but I carry a whistle on every key chain I own. A loud, shrill whistle can be had for about a buck.

Re: Gifts for students
Not to sidetrack the thread, but does anyone know of a place that will do custom challenge coins here locally in DFW? I was thinking of doing them for my business. Also would love it if the place could either use/melt base metal that I provide. Long story.Flightmare wrote: ↑Wed Aug 12, 2020 11:36 pmIf there is a time I can meet up with you, I'd be more than happy to meet up somewhere and give you one of these challenge coins. Re: Gifts for students
PatriotPost.us has a bunch or inexpensive booklets that were designed to be handouts. They include:Tex1961 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 6:40 pm I’ve got a few classes that I’m scheduled to teach “Intro to handguns” and thought it would be nice to have something to give my students. Looking for ideas for something inexpensive but not cheap or cheesy. I do a lot of family groups, so something that would also be appropriate for younger students as well as the adults.
Any ideas ?
- "Founders' Wisdom: The Companion to The Patriot’s Primer on American Liberty", $0.75 each, $175.00/case of 500. (I used to buy these buy the case to hand out to teenagers and young adults who’d never been taught any of our founding principles in the public schools.)
- "The Patriot's Primer on American Liberty", $0.95/each, $126.00/ case of 300.
Also, NCCS.net has a pocket-sized edition of "The Constitution of the United States", $1.00/each. I’ve bought these by the box to hand out too.
I highly recommend all of these, and others also that Patriot Post has.
