Good write up. To be honest about it, I believe all the left wing activists groups are evil as Hades. I can't think of a single one that is truly trying to help people.

SPLC would have no more power than any other group IF the Federal government and several of its agencies did not use the output that SPLC produces. The organization clearly has a Liberal/Progressive bias

SPLC is a hate group, of the left-wing variety. Somehow, they have difficulty noticing hate groups other than right wing or simply of different political philosophy. Once a group with a reasonable goal, they've turned into primarily a fund-raising organization that pays obscene amounts of money to their executives. Their 'absolute-minimum' fund raising goal increases dramatically every year.
They need to be outted as the agenda-driven hate group they've become.

I agree with all of the comments that I've read. The SPLC is as mis-named an organization as I can recall seeing. They are indeed a left wing hate group.
