Dart Officer Attacked

I was Texted a message that a D.A.R.T Officer was attacked gun stolen and they were beaten, DPD is looking for the Perp, anybody have any details on this?

Nothing on local news social media or DFWscanner's social media about it.

I didn't see anything about it on the news at 1700.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Ok, then must have been a bogus story, I looked for additional info and couldn't find any!

Got the info.....

It was a Security Guard, that is hired by DART to watch an area.
He was walking home, and got confronted by 4 men. They wanted his pistol. He gave it to them (!!!!)
DART responded in force trying to find the individuals in the surrounding area, but came up empty.

Did report say they got the drop on him. I can understand if he was looking down a barrel.

According to my source, he 'gave them the weapon after they asked for it" ... no weapon used against him except scary words.

I am concerned like you, Jag. Who willingly 'gives' their gun to bad people??

Maybe he sold it and cooked up this story to cover for selling it.

This is why we must have universal background checks and red flag laws and get weapons of war off the street and stop hydraulic fracturing now. Did I miss anything :evil2:

4 against 1= disparity of force! Even if they have the drop on me, I learned while on the Tacital team to draw against them, tie goes to the most accurate!
