In March 2017, President Trump, signed into law the designation of celebrating every March 29 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day.

-The same sentiments here, but there was another "war" going on at the time, the Cold War. While we weren't as at much risk, we did our part to win this one. I was in the service at that time but never left the USA and I don't consider myself a Viet Nam vet but technically I am. My best buddy at the time went to Thailand unofficially.
